52: Recognizing My Blackness, Launching a Soul-Aligned Business and Movement as Medicine with Mindfulness and Wellbeing Strategist Kayla Jeter
In this episode Kayla Jeter shares her incredible entrepreneurial offerings to support all of us in becoming more mindful, healthful, fit and experience a personalized sense of self with Kayla as your cheerleader. Kayla tells us about growing up as a college volleyball player with her NFL playing father “The Muffin Man,” (Gary Jeter) and her bi racial mom who was also a model. Kayla shared that the first time she recognized her blackness was when she moved to Chicago. We spoke about our shared love for Nike and how acting as a caregiver for her mother led to a disciplined workout and movement routine.
